SNKL models have the best case shape by Seiko. Nice watch, Im considering this one or the SNKL48k(gold dial version)
What a wonderful collection!
Nice review. Just ordered one for myself.
I find it hard to believe there are any better looking Cap.t Willards than yours. Yours looks like new.
Estupenda y admirable colección, gracias por compartirla. Saludos cordiales desde Stgo.Chile 👏👏👏
I got one in the end, it’s the 33mm chrome wind up sunburst dial in mint condition for 2017, had another better lizard strap and TIMEX silver buckle, winds well, and wears well, have no complaints for an eBay knock down price, didn’t come with the original box or sleeve.

Amazing collection. Bravo!
Ahh, these are NICE!
You talk from your heart about owning your watches, very few can express like that. I like this.
Very nice watches brother!! Love them! Thank you for sharing!
Better than a daytona
Thanks so much for doing this. There really is something about this watch. I have a 7” wrist so I’m used to 39-42 sized pieces, 36 always seems a bit small, but this just has that something. Have to grab one. Cheers. 😎👍🏼 very nice vid. Would have liked to have seen a wrist shot 🙂…..never mind, just watched your unboxing 😁

Since the video I have actually sold the BB36 to gather funds for next purchase. That was quite awhile ago and recently I bought the Tudor ranger which is a fabulous watch and 39mm! Highly recommended 👍
What strap have you purchased for this?
Your definition of "affordable" and "reasonable" an my definition differ greatly sir.
Think these watches, after checking were made by Giorgio Galli Design Lab (Design studio in Milan in Italy since 1996, acquired 2007) Galli designs watches for: Timex Nautica Versace Versus Salvatore Ferragamo But certain that this is where this new Marlin was being made looking at their website. We shouldn’t forget that Timex Group B.V., or Timex Group, is an American - Dutch holding company headquartered in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands.
Accuracy? They are using Selitta movements now.
mine is running +2/day
What size wrist do you have?
6.75"
That strap is gorgeous. Smart choice there.
It gleams, can see it from outer space 🪐.
Yes it has Arabic numerals, it depicted 1965 in its reproduction in 2017, think you might like to compare to an original to see how a real one looked and felt to see whether you liked new or old…
Is it for sale?
Same reaction! I thought god ..what is this! its so tiny ...after an hour i understood it was perfect.
Very helpful video. Love the leather strap. I have another watch on a Hirsch Mariner strap which is an outstanding strap. Q. How wide are the BB 36 lugs? Maybe 19mm? Would a 20mm strap squeeze on? (As Hirsch do 18-20 mm version of Mariner, not 19). Thanks
19mm. You could squeeze on a 20mm but all depends on the stiffness of the strap I guess
Nice video! Are the links on this timepiece removable??
Yes they are
Lovely watch. I too have one.
Very good collection…i have somme chronos , seikomatic, 6139 8306 etc From France
Where did you buy the brown strap?
Bulang and sons
@@KevG1962 is it better than the orinal strap? Looks a bit small on the leather strap
i just brought it today!!!
Me too !!!
me too!
Junk,he can’t get the Explorer,that’s all.
My dad gave me the one with the blue face in 1971 0r 1972. I wore it for years and I still have it. It's around fifty one years old now and it still runs. Just sits in the drawer now. If my dad knew I still had it and it worked he would come out of his grave and want it back!
Looking to get one of the Sicuras serviced at the minute. Do you recall who serviced it?
I got the same...Sicura Formula 1? Looking at 300-550 so far :(
Should've got the Gold face.. so how is it?? Any update?
I like the black dial and gold combo. Still wearing it to brighten up a dull day ☺️
@@KevG1962 And unfortunately there has been lots of dull days the last 2 years
I love when people tell someone how to spend their money !
Anyone know what size of screwdriver I need to use on a Tudor Black Bay 36 bracelet screws? Do I really need to remove the bracelet from the watch before I heat up to soften the loctite? Is it best to use a hollow ground screwdriver head? Many thanks in advance
The gape or rubber ring on crown side ?
I love all them! Thanks for sharing it.
A beautiful collection. Its been a while since you uploaded a new video. I hope your fit and well.
Thanks, will try to upload again soon!
Absolutely love the bullitt benrus 😍
It's weird you posted this as I am having the exact same conversation in my head about the size of the 36mm. It's just a stunner
I REALLY like it, however the super-long crown tube really bothers me. No idea, why it's so long! I feel like it's dig into the back of my hand and it also looks lopsided. Also compared to the BB58, with it's in-house movement, this seems like a much worse value for money, considering it's just running a standard ETA movement.
I did love it and the accuracy was fantastic so I'm thinking Tudor spent time on tweaking the movement. I have since sold it to help raise funds for a Rolex OP39
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing mate.
Beautiful watch. What's the lug to lug distance? 46mm?
DON WATCH COLLECTION
I have the JLC ultra thin moon in silver. Quite similar in style. And yet I still want this Marlin. It is a gorgeous piece. Thanks for introducing it.
Very nice, all around. Very impressive array of divers kept me curious. Like that the sub was not first presented, though certainly appreciated.
40mm and up,,,,mainly 42 and up....are HUGE watches....and look dumb on most people....unless they are huge...shaq size.....the fad/trend to wear baggy pants and huge mm watches....is over.....and it was and is...DuMb too....
I am planning on getting this next year for my 30th. I can already feel my collection pairing down in my mind in anticipation.
Hell yha I’m buying this watch once I graduate from community college! I mean it is the closest thing to a Rolex explorer.
can i have your email?
